Osby Municipality Kompetensa is now seeking a job coach for labor market initiatives to support individuals on their path to self-sufficiency. We are currently offering a temporary position for a regular employee who is trying other tasks in our operations.

The operations currently consist of labor market initiatives, health promotion work, financial assistance, budget and debt counseling, and coordinating the reception of newcomers.

We are facing several changes within our area of operations with an upcoming activity requirement for those receiving financial assistance and who are assessed to need full-time activation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission will consist of supporting individuals towards establishment in the labor market. Your main focus will be to plan and implement group activities aimed at the target group. This will be carried out together with your colleagues, but you will mainly conduct work tasks independently.

You will hold individual conversations as needed, provide support at workplaces during internships and work training, maintain contact with workplaces, and validate basic general competencies and professional skills.

It also includes collaborating with other parties and professionals related to the individual, so it should be natural for you to reach out and work together with others.

Documentation is a natural part of the work, as well as jointly developing the initiatives we offer as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have post-secondary education in social or pedagogical work.

You have documented experience working with group guidance aimed at the target group as well as individual initiatives.

We consider it an asset if you speak multiple languages or have experience working with language promotion, as some of our participants have a different native language.

OTHER

The recruiting manager will be unavailable until January 5, and contact with applicants is planned for the same week.

There is an opportunity to combine the job with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the needs of the operations.
